Pick of the Patch from Night Owl Quilting

Reneta made this lovely "Pick of the Patch" quilt.  The pattern comes from the October 2020 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine.    There are free instructions for the block made into a wall hanging here.

Reneta selected the Oak Breeze pantograph and I think it is the perfect compliment to this fall themed quilt.  I love the movement in this panto.

Spring Equinox from Night Owl Quilting

I am SOOO excited to share this quilt that I made! (Happens occasionally!)  I loved this pattern the first time I saw it on Instagram.  The pattern is called Spring Equinox and is by designer Taralee Quiltery  who lives in neighboring Stonewall, Manitoba.  My niece Amber was graduating high school this year, so it felt like the perfect fit to make it for her.

I also decided this quilt was the perfect opportunity for some over the top quilting.  I have only done something like this once before when Reneta pushed me out of my comfort zone with this quilt ...

A Pair of Tea Cup Quilts from Night Owl Quilting

Susan brought me two lovely quilts made from Missouri Star's Tea Cup quilt pattern.  This first one is in a lovely collection of fabric called "A Day at the Lake" by Wilmington Prints.  Susan left the pantograph selection up to me and I thought "Bora Bora" looked like the breeze blowing in off the lake.  This one is destined to live on a bed in her cottage and it couldn't be more perfect.

The second quilt was made in a beautiful line called "Petal Pusher" by Camelot fabrics.  I selected the Wildflower pnatograph and a lovely mustard colored ...

Karen's Memory Quilts from Night Owl Quilting

I recently had the privilege of quilting three very special quilts for Karen. Karen made three unique memory quilts for her sisters out of their father's shirts.

The first one based on the Crossroads quilt block, got the London Fog pantograph.

The second one got the Gingersnap pantograph.

The third one, based on the "Chandelier 2 " pattern got the Plush pantograph.

When Karen came to pick up the quilts she brought along the labels she had made, and I think they are awesome.  She used the shirt collars in the most creative way.  Each of her sisters selected a ...

Volleyball & New Pantographs from Night Owl Quilting

This fun volleyball quilt was made by Reneta.  She found the pattern on Etsy from Vickers Quilt Company and it is simply called "Volleyball Quilt Pattern"  I love how Reneta changed up the colors from the original pattern and added a little personal touch in the corner.

This one came into my studio at just the right time as I had ordered some new pantographs and "Arrowful" seemed to be a perfect fit.

Here are the new pantographs that have been added to my collection.
(I have a separate page on this blog where I show all the pantograph patterns ...
